Getting Real: Spiritual Activism and Community Healing
February 4, 2017 | Madison, Wisconsin area 10 AM-6 PM
Highland Manor Shelter, 10 Manor Drive, Madison, Wi. 53713
Drawing upon 50 years of political and spiritual activism, the training shares psycho-spiritual tools that have been helpful for personal empowerment, building coalitions and group energy, conflict transformation, and strategic planning. Our times are calling for new models of healing our shared histories of communal trauma and creating a pathway of service to the common good. The intent is to creative a safe container for people to get support and encouragement to engage in spiritual activism at this time in the world. We’ll take time for dialogue, sharing, learning, and dreaming with the help of the spirits. The goal is to create an ongoing space where people can meet for support and problem solving as they work to bring healing and conflict transformation in their communities. Ideally we’ll create a circle that can meet occasionally and an online forum for sharing concerns/ideas.
Fee for the day will be $125. Scholarships will be available based on need as the intent is to be inclusive of all people and fees will be reduced for families/couples/households who wish to participate. All people under the age of 18 who register will be free.
Prior registration is required to attend. To register contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org..
Questions or requests for scholarships, contact email@example.com. . Credit card payment is available upon request. Per his ongoing practice, a portion of the workshop profits will be donated to humanitarian causes.

Transgenerational Trauma and Healing Ancestor Syndrome
A Two Day Workshop with Myron Eshowsky, MS
“ The dead are invisible, they are not absent” — Saint Augustine
This workshop focuses on personal soul healing and our ancestral past. Each of us is a living story in influenced by generations past. If we learn to hear what is difficult to hear and see what is difficult to see, then we can grasp, better understand, repetitions and coincidences in our family history. In a way, we are less free than we think we are as individuals when we recognize we are reliving stories of past generations. We gain freedom by understanding what happens and bringing healing to all the complexity we have collectively inherited.
In this workshop we will explore:
- Shamanic notions of ancestral soul loss which cause disruption in family connections, create family patterns of illness, and other patterns of disharmony.
- Tools for exploring and understanding transgenerational trauma and how it is transmitted through the generations
- Rituals and healing methods to bring our lives into balance and harmony. is is the beginning place for healing future generations to come.

Intensive Ancestor Syndrome:
Residential, November 7-9, 2014
Intensive of Ancestor Syndrome and the Healing of Transgenerational Trauma
Bethel Horizons Retreat Center, Dodgeville, Wisconsin
Enrollment for this event will be limited to 16-18 and applicants will be screened. It is a professional training meant to offer in depth understanding of how unhealed issues of the past are passed down collectively and within our direct ancestral lineage. How do we identify issues that are ancestral in nature? How are issues and soul burdens transmitted? To look at these issues it is essential we do a conscious baggage check from time to time. We have to be painstakingly honest with ourselves about the ways that we have accumulated other people’s stuff. What form is it in? How heavy is it? How does it block our growth?
If interested in attending this workshop, contact Myron with your interest in this training. Fee for training is $325.
