This workshop focuses on personal soul healing and our ancestral past. Each of us is a living story influenced by generations past. If we learn to hear what is difficult to hear and see what is difficult to see, we can grasp and better understand repetitions and coincidences in our family history. In a way, we are less free than we think we are as individuals when we recognize we are reliving stories of past generations. We gain freedom by understanding how this happens and by bringing healing to all the complexity we have collectively inherited.

In this workshop we will explore:
1. Shamanic notions of ancestral soul loss, which causes disruption in family connections, creates family patterns of illness, and other patterns of disharmony.
2. Tools for exploring and understanding transgenerational trauma and how it is transmitted through the generations.
3. Rituals and healing methods to bring our lives into balance and harmony. This is the beginning place for healing future generations to come.

This is an intensive training on the integration of shamanic healing and its applications to the needs of modern times. The training draws upon Myron’s nearly 40 years of healing practice, including but not limited to: psychosis and other forms of spiritual crisis; drug/alcohol addiction; traumatized populations including people exposed to urban violence, war, refugee camps, and prisons; youth at risk including gangs and gang violence; peacemaking in dangerous situations; autism spectrum disorders; health issues with particular emphasis on illnesses with immune system involvement such as cancer, allergies, HIV, chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia; muti-generational family issues; place healing specific to peace making and/or health issues.

Topics included (but not limited to):
1. An exploration of spiritual delusion and madness. Learners will gain tools for understanding delusion, magical thinking, and psychosis. These tools inform methods used to bring certain clients out of states of disorganization.
2. An exploration of the range of traumatic experiences people encounter and the possibilities and limitations of soul retrieval work. Learners will look at the range of responses people have to trauma and healing needs which arise out of the individual’s particular response. Soul retrieval, trauma work, and integration will be taught as a three day focus on this topic.
3. The traditional role of the shaman as mediator/peacemaker between the ordinary world and the realm of the spirits. Learners will explore a spiritual peacemaking model for treating grief, despair, and illness.
4. Use of ceremonies, rituals, and symbols as treatment of larger group issues which effect us all.
5. Spiritual nature of addiction and compulsion, and approaches for addressing these issues.
6. Healing work with cancer including the notion of cancer as metaphor for the spiritual human condition.
7. Tools for addressing transgenerational trauma and its healing, what is often referred to as ancestor syndrome.

The format for the training will be four weekends (Saturday/ Sunday). Next Group Starts September 2012 in Madison, WI. Participants will be expected to participate in group homework and assignments between sessions. The trainings will be didactic and experiential and seeks to create a safe, nurturing learning community for the whole group. Readings will be suggested where appropriate. Fee for the year long training is $900. Payment plans can be negotiated with Myron. Additionally, participants may pay by credit card.

In this time of quickening change in the world, we confront the consequences of our human history of malignant tendencies towards the earth and all who live upon her. As spiritual beings we are influenced by these malignant tendencies which serve as possible triggers turning on the cancer cells that live in each of us. Shamanic wisdom shares that what we do to the earth we do to ourselves. This workshop provides a complex spiritual system understanding of cancer and looks at how shamans create the healing matrix specific to the needs of each cancer patient.

Workshop covers but is not limited to:
a. Belief systems, how they both contribute to cause as well as healing.
b. Understanding the complex anatomy of the soul as a way of understanding specific cancers; the interplay of the internal world of the soul and the earth; and also looks at ancestral soul contributions to disease.
c. Looks at what may be triggers that turn cancer cells on including radiation ; certain medical treatments; toxic chemicals in the air, water or food; a spiritual virus; elemental energies; place spirits.
d. Explores the role of trauma to the soul, its effects on the bodies natural immune system and the role of balance and harmony as a spiritual theme in healing.
d. Provides tools for diagnostics as well as shamanic methods for healing based on the complexity of factors that may contributing. This includes treatment of pain associated with cancer and amelioration of symptoms related to use of chemo and radiation.
e. A system of journeys for patients to work on their own healing.
f. Natural approaches that can contribute to healing, such as food, diet and exercise.

Workshop is open to shamanic practitioners, health and mental health professionals, and persons who currently have been diagnosed with cancer. Attendance to the whole workshop is required.

Myron Eshowsky brings over 30 years of experience in working with hundreds of people suffering from cancer. He has seen many go into remission; many who live far longer and healthier than predicted; and he’s seen many find a healing and peaceful death. He has worked with people suffering from cancers related to nuclear radiation exposure such as Chernobyl; veterans exposed to cancer causing chemical agents; and other environmental related cancer causing exposures. He has worked extensively with numerous oncologists and other physicians in treating cancer patients. Weaving current research understandings and deep wisdom of the spirits, this workshop comes at this time due to the needs of our time of quickening change as well as a number of requests in the last year for this type of training.
